My Altitude and Elevation utilizes web services to retrieve accurate surface elevation data based on your current location, offering superior precision compared to device-provided information. The application provides a variety of features catering to diverse user needs.

<ul>
 <li>Location-specific altitude from NASA's Shuttle Radar Topography Mission</li>
 <li>Satellite-based altitude (GPS altitude) adjusted to height above mean sea level (AMSL)</li>
 <li>Accurate land survey altitude values from the United States Geological Survey</li>
 <li>For devices equipped with a barometer sensor, obtaining pressure altitude converted to elevation above sea level</li>
</ul>

The app includes barometer and altimeter functionalities:

<ul>
 <li>Precise height measurement above sea level</li>
 <li>Accurate barometric pressure reading</li>
 <li>Display of GPS coordinates, location name, and country information</li>
 <li>Current weather details such as temperature, wind speed, visibility, and humidity</li>
</ul>

Additional app features:

 <li>Altitude representation in meters or feet</li>
 <li>Easily switch between metric and imperial units</li>
 <li>Display of current location coordinates, including latitude and longitude</li>

 <li>Detailed current weather data including temperature, condition, humidity, wind speed, and wind bearing</li>
 <li>World Altitude feature for approximating elevation from sea level for any global location</li>
 <li>Ability to save altitude data for future reference</li>
 <li>Capture photos with embedded elevation information for sharing purposes</li>
